Le Coeur en Rose

Interactive feather installation, 2021, 180 x 130 x 100 cm

The fine lattice of the outer walls is pierced by quills, reminiscent of the thorns of a rose. When circling the sculpture, the entrance is discovered. Through the narrow gap, the visitor catches a glimpse of the interior, which is filled with a cloud of delicate feathers. The light shining through makes the pink glow in all shades. Those who dare to press their bodies through the opening are rewarded with a gentle embrace of fluffy feathers.

The question "For whom am I opening my heart?" appeared while creating "Le Coeur en Rose".

Living with an open heart is one of the most dangerous attitudes yet the only way to truly connect and giving life depth and beauty.
